Great post, Kevin. Definitely relate to your challenges around shifting social self-identity, and love the take on "everything is parenting". May our new identities be great examples for the kids!
I really loved reading this. I have a one year old and my husband currently had a dime sized hickey on his forehead too! Thanks for documenting a bit of what I’ve got coming my way this year.
This is beautiful, and very relatable. With our ~5 y/o it’s such an emotional challenge and we’re seeing how the “everything is parenting” played out for him, while with our 4 month old it’s back in the survival mode trenches. Super happy for you & your fam, Kevin! :)
Love you and our kid so so so much ❣️❣️❣️
Also, first
I just read this out loud to Diana as we're eating some post-hike pie. So many feelings were shared in between bites. Thanks for sharing Kev!
LOVE YALL
Good going, daddy-o. 2 years in, it's about to get a whole lot more interesting.
Enjoy the ride!
I’m ready I’m not ready
None of us ever are!

Dude this is great. I am so happy for you and your family!
Thanks man! Good to hear from you!
Great piece. I enjoyed reading it. As a father of two girls - I quote Mike Tyson a lot. “Everyone has a plan, until they get punched in the face”. :)
I can’t comprehend what that would be like!
